Sandimmune side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on May 04, 2005. Female patient, 18 years of age, was diagnosed with transplant and was treated with Sandimmune. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic reaction, blood pressure increased, rash . Sandimmune dosage: 200 MG, ONCE/SINGLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory failure, blood pressure increased, brain natriuretic peptide increased, capillary permeability increased, chest discomfort, chest pain , dyspnoea, hyperventilation, hypoventilation. Sandimmune dosage: 2.4 ML/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE. Patient recovered.

Sandimmune dosage: 1.5 MG/KG, BID. During the same period patient was treated with CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, IRRADIATION, TACROLIMUS. Patient died on 08/26/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , blood fibrinogen decreased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood pressure increased, blood sodium decreased, blood urine present, brain oedema, catheter related infection. Sandimmune dosage: 140 MG/D. During the same period patient was treated with PROGRAF, FLUCONAZOLE, BACTRIM, ACYCLOVIR. Patient died on 01/19/2007.

Sandimmune dosage: 1.5 MG/KG, BID. During the same period patient was treated with CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, IRRADIATION, STEROIDS NOS, STEROIDS NOS, DIOVAN, AMLODIPINE BESYLATE, CERCINE, SERENACE. Patient recovered.
