Sandimmune side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Apr 15, 2008. Male patient, 62 years of age, weighting 165.3 lb, was diagnosed with stem cell transplant, fungal infection , prophylaxis against graft versus host disease, c-reactive protein increased and was treated with Sandimmune. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, blood creatinine increased, blood glucose increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood potassium decreased, blood sodium decreased. Sandimmune dosage: 200 MG/D. During the same period patient was treated with AMBISOME, MEROPEN. Patient died on 08/29/2007.
