Sandimmune side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Sept 14, 2007. Male patient, 57 years of age, weighting 191.8 lb, was diagnosed with stem cell transplant and was treated with Sandimmune. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angina pectoris, anxiety , blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood creatine phosphokinase mb increased, chest pain , electrocardiogram st segment depression, hyperhidrosis, troponin t increased. Sandimmune dosage: ABOUT 100 MG. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatine phosphokinase increased, cytomegalovirus infection , diabetes mellitus, muscular weakness, rhabdomyolysis. Sandimmune dosage: 150 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with CELLCEPT, DECORTIN, NITROFURANTOIN, LACIDIPINE, FUROSEMIDE, CONTROLOC, LESCOL, CORTEF. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

Patient died on 02/02/2007.
