Samarium side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Mar 14, 2005. Male patient, 61 years of age, weighting 205.0 lb, was diagnosed with metastases to bone and was treated with Samarium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dental operation, inflammation, osteomyelitis, osteonecrosis What is  osteonecrosis, sequestrectomy, stomatitis, tooth extraction, wound debridement. Samarium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ZOLADEX, AVODART, BONDRONAT, ZOMETA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Samarium side effect was reported by a Physician from AUSTRIA on June 17, 2005. Female patient, 41 years of age, was diagnosed with breast cancer What is  breast cancer and was treated with Samarium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abscess jaw, bone trimming, incisional drainage, osteomyelitis, osteonecrosis What is  osteonecrosis, pain What is  pain, surgery What is  surgery, tooth extraction, wound debridement. Samarium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ZOMETA, ZOLADEX, NOLVADEX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
