Samarium side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 20, 2006. Male patient, 68 years of age, weighting 181.0 lb, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma What is  multiple myeloma and was treated with Samarium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, disease progression, hyperkalaemia. Samarium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VELCADE, THALIDOMIDE, MEDROL, BIAXIN, ZOMETA, PROCRIT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
