Samarium Side Effects Report #5352504-5
Samarium side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on July 17, 2006. Male patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with prostate cancer  and was treated with Samarium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disease progression. Samarium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ZOMETA. Patient died on 03/14/2004.

Samarium side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Jan 31, 2005. Male patient, 50 years of age, weighting 211.6 lb, was diagnosed with prostate cancer  and was treated with Samarium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood urine present, disease progression, faecal incontinence, spinal column stenosis, spinal cord compression, urinary incontinence . Samarium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TAXOTERE, XOPENEX, PULMICORT, PULMICORT INH, SEREVENT INH, CELEBREX, METHADONE, DILAUDID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abasia, blood urine present, disease progression, dysstasia, faecal incontinence, meningeal disorder, nuclear magnetic resonance imaging abnormal, spinal column stenosis. Samarium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TAXOTERE, XOPENEX, PULMICORT, PULMICORT INH, SEREVENT INH, CELEBREX, METHADONE, DILAUDID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 76 years of age, weighting 138.9 lb, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma  and was treated with Samarium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, breath sounds abnormal, coma, decreased appetite, disease progression, hypotension, multiple myeloma , myalgia, oedema peripheral. Samarium dosage: unknown. Patient died on 07/28/2005.

Male patient, 68 years of age, weighting 181.0 lb, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma  and was treated with Samarium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, disease progression, hyperkalaemia. Samarium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VELCADE, THALIDOMIDE, MEDROL, BIAXIN, ZOMETA, PROCRIT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
