Samarium side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 18, 2007. Male patient, 65 years of age, weighting 191.8 lb, was diagnosed with metastases to bone, prostate cancer  and was treated with Samarium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: deep vein thrombosis , dyspnoea exertional. Samarium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SAMARIUM SM, ZOLEDRONIC ACID, ZOLEDRONIC ACID, ATENOLOL, GLYBURIDE, CALCIUM CHLORIDE, VITAMIN CAP, LUPRON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Samarium side effect was reported by a Physician from on Mar 22, 2005. Male patient, 61 years of age, weighting 201.9 lb, was diagnosed with metastases to bone, prostate cancer metastatic and was treated with Samarium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: deep vein thrombosis , ventricular tachycardia. Samarium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SAMARIUM SM, LOVENOX, COUMADIN, TYLENOL, PROTONIX, LOPRESSOR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
