Samarium Side Effects Report #5352620-8
Samarium side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on July 17, 2006. Male patient, 58 years of age, was diagnosed with prostate cancer  and was treated with Samarium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, confusional state, hypocalcaemia, hypokalaemia, hypophosphataemia. Samarium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ZOMETA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Samarium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TAXOTERE, STEROIDS, RADIATION. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, breath sounds abnormal, coma, decreased appetite, disease progression, hypotension, multiple myeloma , myalgia, oedema peripheral. Samarium dosage: unknown. Patient died on 07/28/2005.

Samarium side effect was reported by a Physician from on Mar 09, 2005. Male patient, weighting 142.0 lb, was diagnosed with metastases to bone and was treated with Samarium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , asthenia, dehydration, dyspnoea, fatigue, haematemesis, hepatomegaly, oedema peripheral. Samarium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AZULFIDIEN, FLAGYL, HYDROCODONE BITARTRATE, NEOADJUVANT HORMONAL THEARPY, MITOXANTRONE, ZOMEDA, CENTIGRAY. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 03/01/2005.
