Salsalate side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 31, 2005. Male patient, 83 years of age, weighting 283.0 lb, was diagnosed with pain , cerebrovascular accident, coronary artery disease  and was treated with Salsalate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gastrointestinal haemorrhage, hypotension, syncope. Salsalate dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, CLOPIDOGREL, CLOPIDOGREL BISULPHATE, ATENOLOL, NITRAGLYCERIN, STATIN, FUROSEMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gastrointestinal haemorrhage. Salsalate dosage: 750MG BID PRN. During the same period patient was treated with COLCHICINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Salsalate dosage: 1000MG BID PO (DURATION: SEVERAL YEARS). Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
