Salsalate side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Sept 30, 2008. Male patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with pain , deep vein thrombosis  and was treated with Salsalate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gastric haemorrhage, gastritis. Salsalate dosage: 750 MG TID PO. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Salsalate side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 27, 2005. Male patient, 80 years of age, weighting 198.0 lb, was diagnosed with arthritis , coronary artery disease  and was treated with Salsalate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: duodenal ulcer, gastritis. Salsalate dosage: 2250MG +, 750MG TI, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, SIMVASTATIN, FUROSEMIDE, GLIPIZIDE, LISINOPRIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
