Salsalate side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on May 26, 2005. Male patient, 53 years of age, weighting 164.0 lb, was diagnosed with pain What is  pain and was treated with Salsalate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain What is  abdominal pain, anorexia, duodenal ulcer, erosive duodenitis, fall What is  fall, fatigue, gastric ulcer, gastritis erosive, hypotension. Salsalate dosage: 75 MG BID. During the same period patient was treated with DOCUSATE CA, FEROUS SULPHATE, MAGNESIUM OXIDE, OMEPRAZOLE, PROPRANOLOL. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 86 years of age, weighting 196.0 lb, was diagnosed with osteoarthritis What is  osteoarthritis and was treated with Salsalate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gastric ulcer, haematemesis, reflux oesophagitis, treatment noncompliance. Salsalate dosage: 750MG QID PRN ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, APAP, OMEPRAZOLE, RANITIDINE, FINASTERIDE, GABAPENTIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
