Salsalate side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on July 09, 2007. Male patient, 72 years of age, weighting 154.0 lb, was diagnosed with musculoskeletal pain, aortic valve replacement and was treated with Salsalate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac enzymes increased, cardiac failure chronic, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, hyperkalaemia, hypotension, musculoskeletal pain, pulmonary mass, renal failure acute. Salsalate dosage: 500MG BID PRN PAIN PO. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
