Salmeterol side effect was reported by a Physician from ITALY on Apr 11, 2005. Male patient, 81 years of age, weighting 187.4 lb, was diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and was treated with Salmeterol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angina pectoris, atrial fibrillation , cardiac failure congestive, chest pain , chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cor pulmonale chronic, dyspnoea exacerbated, productive cough, respiratory failure. Salmeterol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SALBUTAMOL, PREDNISOLONE, FRIVENT, KANRENOL, LANOXIN, NITROGLYCERIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
