Salmeterol side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on May 25, 2004. Male patient, 82 years of age, weighting 171.3 lb, was diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and was treated with Salmeterol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arrhythmia , cardiac failure, cor pulmonale, sinus tachycardia, supraventricular extrasystoles. Salmeterol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ADVAIR DISKUS, ALBUTEROL, COMBIVENT. Patient died on 05/25/2004.
