Salbutamol side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Oct 11, 2006. Female patient, 24 years of age, was diagnosed with premature labour and was treated with Salbutamol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose increased, blood ph decreased, condition aggravated, diabetic ketoacidosis, ketonuria, premature labour, somnolence. Salbutamol dosage: 1 MG, QH, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with SALBUTAMOL SULPHATE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspiration, asthma , atelectasis, blood glucose increased, blood ph decreased, blood potassium increased, bronchospasm, circulatory collapse. Salbutamol dosage: 2.5 MG EVERY HOUR, THE NEBULISATION FREQUENCY WAS LOWERED WHEN SYMPTOMS IMPROVED. During the same period patient was treated with ATROVENT, HYDROCORTISONE. Patient died.
