Rythmodan Side Effects Report #5083861-5
Rythmodan side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from JAPAN on July 18, 2006. Female patient, 53 years of age, weighting 103.6 lb, was diagnosed with supraventricular tachycardia, iron deficiency, azotaemia, hypertension, hyperphosphataemia, thrombosis prophylaxis and was treated with Rythmodan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypoglycaemia, renal disorder. Rythmodan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FERROMIA, KREMEZIN, CARDENALIN, ADALAT, DEPAS, COZAAR, CALCIUM CARBONATE, BUFFERIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 93 years of age, weighting 77.16 lb, was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, oedema peripheral, angina pectoris, renal impairment, gastritis, insomnia, constipation  and was treated with Rythmodan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dehydration, hypoglycaemia, hypoglycaemic coma, hypovolaemia, pneumonia aspiration, renal impairment. Rythmodan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LASIX, ALDACTONE, FRANDOL, BICARBONATE, GASTER, SOLANAX, MAGNESIUM OXIDE. Patient died on 04/09/2006.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, dehydration, hypoglycaemia, hypoglycaemic coma, pneumonia aspiration, renal impairment. Rythmodan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LASIX, ALDACTONE, FRANDOL, BICARBONATE, GASTER, SOLANAX, MAGNESIUM OXIDE. Patient died on 04/09/2006.
