Female patient, 72 years of age, weighting 122.4 lb, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis , prophylaxis, osteoporosis , blood cholesterol increased, hypertension and was treated with Rosiglitazone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bronchiectasis, lower respiratory tract infection, oesophageal dilatation, pneumonia , red blood cell sedimentation rate increased, weight decreased, white blood cell count increased. Rosiglitazone dosage: 8MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with METHOTREXATE, NAPROXEN, FOLIC ACID, ERGOCALCIFEROL, ALENDRONATE, ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM, BENDROFLUAZIDE, ADALAT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
