Rosiglitazone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Oct 06, 2005. Female patient, 70 years of age, weighting 143.3 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent and was treated with Rosiglitazone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, blood glucose decreased, blood glucose increased, blood sodium decreased, fall , hyperglycaemia, productive cough, sputum discoloured. Rosiglitazone dosage: 4MG PO BID. During the same period patient was treated with GLYBURIDE, GABAPENTIN, VERAPAMIL, AMITRIPTYLINE, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, LOSARTAN POTASSIUM, FESO, CALCIUM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
