Ropivacaine Side Effects Report #5246164-1
Ropivacaine side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Feb 05, 2007. Male patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with analgesic effect, induction of anaesthesia and was treated with Ropivacaine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, anaesthetic complication, bronchial obstruction, conus medullaris syndrome, hypotension, motor dysfunction, respiratory distress, spinal cord ischaemia, urinary retention postoperative. Ropivacaine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SUFENTANIL, LIDOCAINE WITH EPINEPHRINE, ETOMIDATE, PROPOFOL, ATRACURIUM BESYLATE, ISOFLURANE, EPHEDRINE SUL CAP. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: respiratory distress, vocal cord paralysis. Ropivacaine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with REMIFENTANIL, TORSEMIDE, ENALAPRIL MALEATE, ISOSORBIDE DINITRATE, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT, LEVOTHYROXINE. Patient recovered.
