Ropivacaine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Sept 12, 2005. Female patient, 67 years of age, was diagnosed with epidural anaesthesia, chest wall pain and was treated with Ropivacaine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: paraplegia, spinal cord infarction. Ropivacaine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 67 years of age, was diagnosed with epidural anaesthesia, musculoskeletal chest pain, x-ray What is  x-ray, sedation and was treated with Ropivacaine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, heart rate increased, paraplegia, spinal cord infarction. Ropivacaine dosage: 1ML OF 1% SOLUTION. During the same period patient was treated with TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE, ISOVUE, MIDAZOLAM, FENTANYL. Patient recovered.
