Ropivacaine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from GERMANY on Aug 21, 2006. Female patient, 84 years of age, weighting 110.2 lb, was diagnosed with anaesthesia and was treated with Ropivacaine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: accidental overdose, bradycardia, cardiac arrest , dizziness , grand mal convulsion, heart rate increased, incorrect dose administered, loss of consciousness, somnolence. Ropivacaine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MIDAZOLAM. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , dizziness , dyspnoea, palpitations. Ropivacaine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LIDOCAINE. Patient recovered.
