Rocuronium side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from AUSTRALIA on Sept 02, 2005. Male patient, 71 years of age, was diagnosed with sensory disturbance and was treated with Rocuronium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , flushing, hypotension, ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia. Rocuronium dosage: 70 MG. During the same period patient was treated with MIDAZOLAM, PROPOFOL. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with hypotonia and was treated with Rocuronium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaesthetic complication, anaphylactic reaction, arrhythmia , shock, ventricular fibrillation. Rocuronium dosage: 35 MG INTRAVENOUS (NOS). During the same period patient was treated with MORPHINE SULPHATE, THIOPENTONE. Patient died.

Rocuronium dosage: 50 MG ONCE INTRAVENOUS (NOS). During the same period patient was treated with POLYGELINE, THYROXINE, ALBUTEROL SULPHATE HFA, ASPIRIN, METOPROLOL TARTRATE. Patient recovered.
