Rocuronium Side Effects Report #5794533-3
Rocuronium side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on June 19, 2008. Female patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with induction of anaesthesia, maintenance of anaesthesia and was treated with Rocuronium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: apallic syndrome, cardiac arrest , respiratory arrest. Rocuronium dosage: 35 MG ONCE/NI INTRAVENOUS (NOS). During the same period patient was treated with ROCURONIUM BROMIDE, SEVOFLURANE, REMIFENTANIL HYDROCHLORIDE, PROPOFOL, ROPIVACAINE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic shock, cardiac arrest , neuromuscular block prolonged, respiratory arrest. Rocuronium dosage: 3 ML ONCE; INTRAVENOUS BOLUS. During the same period patient was treated with REMIFENTANIL HYDROCHLORIDE, REMIFENTANIL HYDROCHLORIDE, PROPOFOL, OXYGEN. Patient died.

Rocuronium dosage: 3 ML ONCE. During the same period patient was treated with REMIFENTANIL HYDROCHLORIDE, REMIFENTANIL HYDROCHLORIDE, PROPOFOL, OXYGEN. Patient died.
