Rocuronium Side Effects Report #6105405-9
Rocuronium side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Feb 23, 2009. Male patient, 78 years of age, was treated with Rocuronium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypotension, locked-in syndrome, paralysis , post procedural complication. Rocuronium dosage: 0.6 MG/KG, 1 IN 1 HR, INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with NOREPINEPHRINE, VASOPRESSIN. Patient died on 02/20/2009.

Male patient, 78 years of age, weighting 167.6 lb, was diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, respiratory failure and was treated with Rocuronium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: areflexia, cerebral calcification, coma, locked-in syndrome, microangiopathy, paralysis . Rocuronium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METHYLPREDNISOLONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
