Rivastigmine Side Effects Report #5811115-5
Rivastigmine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on July 07, 2008. Male patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease , hallucination, depression  and was treated with Rivastigmine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatine phosphokinase increased, bradykinesia, confusional state, hypertonia, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, pyrexia. Rivastigmine dosage: 1.5 MG DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with QUETIAPINE FUMARATE, CIPRAMIL, MADOPAR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with ZOPICLONE, ASPIRIN, ATORVASTATIN, GLICLAZIDE, RAMIPRIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Rivastigmine dosage: 6 MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with CITALOPRAM HYDROBROMIDE, MIANSERIN. Patient recovered.

Rivastigmine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SIMVASTATIN, PRILOSEC, GABAPENTIN, ENALAPRIL MALEATE, ASPIRIN, CARVEDILOL, ISOSORBIDE MONONITRATE, DILTIAZEM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
