Rituximab side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on July 21, 2005. Female patient, 38 years of age, weighting 108.0 lb, was diagnosed with thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura and was treated with Rituximab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: eosinophil count decreased, infection , neutrophil percentage decreased, neutrophil percentage increased, white blood cell count decreased, white blood cell count increased. Rituximab dosage: 375 MG/M2, 1/WEEK, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with KETOPROFEN, LIPITOR, PAXIL, PRECIPITATED CALCIUM CARBONATE, LASIX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/07/2005.
