Risedronate and chest pain Patient Reports February 12, 2012

Risedronate Side Effects Report #5010023-X
Risedronate side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on May 08, 2006. Male patient, 80 years of age, was diagnosed with osteoporosis  and was treated with Risedronate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatine phosphokinase increased, c-reactive protein increased, chest pain , cryptogenic organizing pneumonia, diverticulum gastric, dysphagia, dyspnoea, gastric ulcer, gastritis. Risedronate dosage: 2.5 MG DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with PROCTOSEDYL, FRAMYCETIN SULPHATE, ESCULOSIDE, IDOMETHINE, MAGNESIUM OXIDE, FOIPAN, DASEN, CLEANAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Risedronate side effect was reported by a Physician from AUSTRALIA on June 20, 2008. Male patient, weighting 205.0 lb, was diagnosed with osteitis deformans and was treated with Risedronate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute myocardial infarction, angina unstable, cardiac failure congestive, chest pain , disease progression, dyspnoea, paraesthesia. Risedronate dosage: 30MG. During the same period patient was treated with CARDIZEM, PRAVACHOL, DIAMICRON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 05/07/2007.
