Risedronate Side Effects Report #5023449-5
Risedronate side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on May 23, 2006. Female patient, 69 years of age, was diagnosed with osteoporosis What is  osteoporosis and was treated with Risedronate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood cholesterol increased, blood creatinine increased, blood pressure decreased, blood urea increased, cardiomegaly, chest discomfort, chest pain What is  chest pain. Risedronate dosage: 2.5 MG DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ZOLPIDEM TARTRATE, DEPAS, DICLOFENAC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 62 years of age, was diagnosed with osteoporosis What is  osteoporosis, nasopharyngitis and was treated with Risedronate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, albumin globulin ratio decreased, aphasia What is  aphasia, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood cholesterol increased, blood cholinesterase increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, depressed level of consciousness. Risedronate dosage: 2.5 MG ONCE, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LOXONIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ascites, blood cholesterol increased, blood triglycerides increased, hypoalbuminaemia, nephrotic syndrome, pleural effusion. Risedronate dosage: 17.5 MG ONCE WEEKLY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with BUFFERIN, NEUROVITAN, THYRADIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
