Rimactane side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on June 10, 2005. Male patient, 87 years of age, was diagnosed with streptococcal infection
and was treated with Rimactane. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cytolytic hepatitis, haemoglobin decreased, hepatitis cholestatic, lymphopenia, platelet count increased. Rimactane dosage: 1800 MG, QD, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CLAMOXYL, OMEPRAZOLE, GLYBURIDE, ACETAMINOPHEN, OMIX. Patient was hospitalized. Rimactane dosage: 1800 MG, QD, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with OMEPRAZOLE, GLYBURIDE, ACETAMINOPHEN, OMIX, CLAMOXYL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
