Riluzole side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Oct 17, 2005. Male patient was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy  and was treated with Riluzole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cough, heart rate increased, respiratory distress, rhinorrhoea. Riluzole dosage: 40 MG DAILY OTHER. During the same period patient was treated with ZANTAC, BETHANECHOL, PULMICORT, COLACE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis  and was treated with Riluzole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, blood bicarbonate increased, blood fibrinogen increased, blood immunoglobulin a increased, blood immunoglobulin e increased, blood immunoglobulin g increased, blood ph increased, cough. Riluzole dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
