Rifaximin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on June 13, 2008. Male patient, 59 years of age, weighting 208.8 lb, was diagnosed with hepatic encephalopathy and was treated with Rifaximin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: enterocolitis infectious, hypokalaemia. Rifaximin dosage: 1100 MG (550 MG, 2 IN 1 D),ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with NOCOMED. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
