Rifater side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Nov 06, 2007. Male patient, 32 years of age, was diagnosed with tuberculosis  and was treated with Rifater. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, hepatitis , hepatocellular damage, malaise, pyrexia, weight decreased. Rifater dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RIFINAH, KETAMINE, ETHAMBUTOL HYDROCHLORIDE, TRAMADOL, TRUVADA, SUSTIVA, FUZEON, GRANOCYTE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 29 years of age, weighting 145.5 lb, was diagnosed with lymph node tuberculosis and was treated with Rifater. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, hepatic failure, hepatitis , hepatocellular damage, lipase increased. Rifater dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.
