Rifater side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Apr 28, 2005. Female patient, 51 years of age, was diagnosed with cervical gland tuberculosis, hypothyroidism, hypertension and was treated with Rifater. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood amylase increased, liver function test abnormal, pancreatitis. Rifater dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ETHAMBUTOL, THYROXINE, INDAPAMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , blood amylase increased, c-reactive protein increased, lipase increased, pancreatitis acute, pyrexia, vomiting. Rifater dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with REYATAZ, TRUVADA, MYAMBUTOL, ROCEPHIN, MOVICOL, SPAGULAX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
