Rifater side effect was reported by a Physician from SPAIN on Oct 28, 2008. Male patient, 56 years of age, was diagnosed with tuberculosis  and was treated with Rifater. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute hepatic failure, jaundice , multi-organ failure. Rifater dosage: unknown. Patient died on 06/03/2008.

Rifater side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Mar 16, 2007. Male patient, 31 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis and was treated with Rifater. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute hepatic failure, dialysis , hepatic steatosis, hyponatraemia, liver transplant , pleural effusion, post procedural haemorrhage, rash . Rifater dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
