Rifater Side Effects Report #4731376-3
Rifater side effect was reported by a Physician from SOUTH AFRICA on July 14, 2005. Female patient, 50 years of age, was diagnosed with tuberculosis , somnolence, infection , diabetes mellitus and was treated with Rifater. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, confusional state, convulsion, lymphocyte count increased, pyrexia. Rifater dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with IMOVANE, CIPROBAY, STILNOX, AUGMENTIN, INSULIN. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, complex partial seizures, confusional state, convulsion, lactic acidosis, muscle twitching, pulmonary embolism , pulmonary oedema. Rifater dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AUGMENTIN, IMOVANE, STILNOX, CIPROBAY, INSULIN, MAXOLON, SYNAPTE, PACKED BLOOD CELLS. Patient died.

Rifater side effect was reported by a Physician from SPAIN on Oct 14, 2008. Male patient, 44 years of age, was diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis and was treated with Rifater. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, malaise, nausea . Rifater dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METHADONE, COPEGUS, MYAMBUTOL, PEGASYS, REXER, TRANKIMAZIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/20/2008.
