Male patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with tuberculous pleurisy and was treated with Rifampin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypoalbuminaemia, nephritis interstitial, nephrotic syndrome, renal failure acute. Rifampin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ISCOTIN, ETHAMBUTOL HYDROCHLORIDE, PYRAZINAMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 51 years of age, weighting 123.5 lb, was diagnosed with extradural abscess, infection  and was treated with Rifampin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: nephritis interstitial. Rifampin dosage: 300MG TWICE DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with BACTRIM DS, FLUOXETINE, GABAPENTIN, GLIPIZIDE, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, HYDROCODONE BITARTRATE, INSULIN, LISINOPRIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
