Rifampin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Apr 28, 2005. Female patient, weighting 240.0 lb, was diagnosed with skin bacterial infection, staphylococcal infection  and was treated with Rifampin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, chest pain , chills, confusional state, diarrhoea, dizziness , dysgeusia, dyspepsia, hypoaesthesia. Rifampin dosage: 300MG, ONE CAP BY MOUTH. During the same period patient was treated with PREMARIN, ALPRAZOLAM, HYDROXYZINE, LEVOTHROID, LISINOPRIL AND HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, OMEPRAZOLE, VIOXX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with ETHAMBUTOL, AZITHROMYCIN, CLONIDINE, NORVASC, NADOLOL, LANOXIN, ACIPHEX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
