Rifampin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 23, 2005. Female patient, 23 years of age, was diagnosed with cellulitis  and was treated with Rifampin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthropod bite, convulsion, grand mal convulsion, insomnia, nausea , pulse pressure decreased, restlessness. Rifampin dosage: 300 MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with METHADONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , bunion, convulsion, dizziness , fall , monarthritis, myocardial infarction, prostate examination abnormal, road traffic accident. Rifampin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DOXYCYCLINE, WELLBUTRIN, CARDURA, FLOMAX, PREVACID, CEPHALEXIN, PERCOCET, PEPCID. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
