Rifampin side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Dec 30, 2005. Female patient, 18 years of age, weighting 110.2 lb, was diagnosed with tuberculosis
and was treated with Rifampin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic shock, angioneurotic oedema, bronchospasm, dyspnoea, face oedema, hypotension. Rifampin dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.Rifampin Side Effects Report #4842520-1
Rifampin side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Nov 25, 2005. Female patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with tuberculin test positive, exposure to communicable disease and was treated with Rifampin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic shock, blood creatinine increased, chills, coagulation factor v level decreased, conjunctival hyperaemia, dermatitis exfoliative, diarrhoea, disseminated intravascular coagulation, erythema. Rifampin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RIFAMPIN AND ISONIAZID, RIFAMPIN AND ISONIAZID, RIFAMPIN AND ISONIAZID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic shock, blood creatinine increased, chills, coagulation factor v level decreased, conjunctival hyperaemia, disseminated intravascular coagulation, erythema, hepatic failure, hypotension. Rifampin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RIFAMPIN AND ISONIAZID, RIFAMPIN AND ISONIAZID, RIFAMPIN AND ISONIAZID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
