and was treated with Rifampin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, fatigue, hepatocellular damage, nausea
, prothrombin time prolonged. Rifampin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PYRAZINAMIDE, LISINOPRIL, METFORMIN, COLCHICINE, ASPIRIN. Patient died.Rifampin Side Effects Report #5011824-4

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, dyspnoea, hepatitis a antibody positive, hepatocellular damage. Rifampin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Nov 07, 2005. Male patient, 28 years of age, was diagnosed with osteomyelitis and was treated with Rifampin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, blood fibrinogen increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, fibrin d dimer increased, microangiopathic haemolytic anaemia, osteomyelitis, petechiae, prothrombin time prolonged, pyrexia. Rifampin dosage: 300 MG, Q12H, ORAL; SEE IMAGE. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
