Rifampicin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Feb 08, 2005. Female patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with tuberculosis  and was treated with Rifampicin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, condition aggravated, disease progression, disseminated cytomegaloviral infection, disseminated tuberculosis, hepatitis toxic, pyrexia. Rifampicin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ISONIAZID, ETHAMBUTOL, METHYLPREDNISOLONE. Patient died.
