Rifampicin Side Effects Report #5136714-8
Rifampicin side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Oct 11, 2006. Female patient, 25 years of age, was diagnosed with tuberculosis  and was treated with Rifampicin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, fatigue, headache , hepatic enzyme increased, histiocytosis haematophagic, pain , pancytopenia, pyrexia, serum ferritin increased. Rifampicin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ISONIAZID, ETHAMBUTOL HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agranulocytosis, chest pain , dyspnoea, interstitial lung disease, pericardial effusion, pericarditis. Rifampicin dosage: 25-450 MG/D. During the same period patient was treated with PREDONINE, NEORAL, EBUTOL, PYRAMIDE. Patient recovered.
