Rifampicin Side Effects Report #5065220-4
Rifampicin side effect was reported by a Physician from NORWAY on July 17, 2006. Female patient, 82 years of age, was diagnosed with tuberculous pleurisy and was treated with Rifampicin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood bilirubin increased, hepatic failure, hepatocellular damage, hepatorenal syndrome, jaundice , transaminases increased, vomiting. Rifampicin dosage: 600 MG, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ISONIAZID, ALLOPUR, PYRIDOXINE, METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, COZAAR COMP. Patient died on 02/09/2006.
