Rifadin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Oct 21, 2005. Male patient, 69 years of age, was diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis and was treated with Rifadin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pancytopenia, purpura, pyrexia, rash , renal impairment, renal tubular disorder. Rifadin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ISCOTIN, STREPTOMYCIN, ETHAMBUTOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
