Rifadin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Aug 08, 2007. Male patient, 75 years of age, weighting 143.3 lb, was diagnosed with staphylococcal infection  and was treated with Rifadin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , hyperbilirubinaemia, nausea , pyrexia. Rifadin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BACTRIM, ATARAX, XYZALL, OPHTHALMOLOGICALS, XALACOM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 63 years of age, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with sepsis , propionibacterium infection and was treated with Rifadin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, cholestasis, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, nausea . Rifadin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMOXICILLIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Rifadin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PIRILENE, RIMIFON, MYAMBUTOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 04/16/2006.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: decreased appetite, liver disorder, nausea , varices oesophageal. Rifadin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PYRAMIDE, EBUTOL, ISCOTIN, URSODIOL, LIVACT, KELNAC, LENDORM. Patient died on 06/29/2001.
