Rifabutin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from JAPAN on Mar 04, 2009. Female patient was diagnosed with tuberculosis What is  tuberculosis and was treated with Rifabutin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pancytopenia, renal impairment. Rifabutin dosage: 150 MG, 1X/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with CYCLOSERINE, EBUTOL, PYRAZINAMIDE, CIPROXAN, SELBEX, VESICARE, FERROMIA, PYDOXAL. Patient recovered.

Rifabutin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CLARITHROMYCIN, EBUTOL, LECTISOL, ABELCET, ITRACONAZOLE, VIREAD, EPIVIR, VIRACEPT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
