Rheumatrex side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Mar 11, 2005. Female patient, 75 years of age, was treated with Rheumatrex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood urea increased, bone marrow depression, c-reactive protein increased, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, cardiomegaly, cytomegalovirus infection What is  cytomegalovirus infection, diarrhoea, dyspnoea, gastrointestinal disorder. Rheumatrex dosage: 2 MG WEEKLY, PO; 2 MG WEEKLY, PO; 4 MG WEEKLY, PO; 6 MG WEEKLY, PO. During the same period patient was treated with METHYLPREDNISOLONE, MISOPROSTOL, ROXATIDINE ACETATE, CALCITRIOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 08/03/2003.

Rheumatrex side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on May 25, 2004. Male patient, 67 years of age, was treated with Rheumatrex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood albumin decreased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, chlamydial infection, interstitial lung disease, pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia. Rheumatrex dosage: 4 MG 1X PER 1 WK, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with MEDROL, METHOTREXATE, REMICADE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
