Retrovir Side Effects Report #5961554-7
Retrovir side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Nov 14, 2008. Male patient, 51 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Retrovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anal abscess, anal infection, bone marrow failure, leukaemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, pancytopenia, refractory anaemia with an excess of blasts, sepsis . Retrovir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with EPIVIR, INDINAVIR SULPHATE ETHANOLATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 04/04/2007.

Retrovir dosage: 240ML PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with EPIVIR, VIRAMUNE, BACTRIM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
