Female patient, 72 years of age, weighting 78.26 lb, was diagnosed with hyperphosphataemia, hyperkalaemia and was treated with Renagel. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: constipation , disease recurrence, diverticulum, hyperkalaemia, large intestine perforation, peritonitis.
