Refludan side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on May 02, 2007. Female patient, 57 years of age, weighting 194.0 lb, was diagnosed with heparin-induced thrombocytopenia and was treated with Refludan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic reaction, cardiac failure, cardio-respiratory arrest, haemorrhage, hypotension, loss of consciousness, pharyngeal oedema, pulse absent, ventricular fibrillation. Refludan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FUROSEMIDE, METOLAZONE, SPIRONOLACTONE, CARVEDILOL, SIMVASTATIN, ASPIRIN, PANTOPRAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
